Rosie PlattsRosie Platts - Courtroom Coach & Image Consultant

After over 25 years of success in corporate life, I realised that somewhere along the line I had lost touch with the important things in life.  So to cut a long story short, I trained as a Life Coach with Noble Manhattan and am also now qualified as a Courtroom Coach.

In addition to this, I am a qualified Image Consultant, which I have found to be very pertinent to my coaching practice as it really does add something special in the areas I coach in – people feel better and more confident on the inside if they are pleased with the way they look.

In the Courtroom Coaching practice, Image is relevant in a couple of ways:

  1. There is strong link between the inner and the outer you.  If you think you look right, chances are you feel it, which means you look confident, which actually makes you look better and so on ... the virtuous circle.

  1. Others get their initial views about who you are on the inside by looking at you from the outside – unfair but true.  First impressions are therefore really important – both for us when visiting solicitors and other professionals, and for our clients when they go to court.

There are a number of ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’ associated with looking professional, right for the part and avoiding ‘antagonistic’ dressing.  You can convey authority, professionalism and confidence just by what you are wearing – to others and to yourself!

I’ll be glad to help and offer tips on this, and also on what/how to advise your clients.

Finally, for any licensees who would like to have their Colour and Image Analysis done, I will be offering special rates.  Believe it or not, in the long run doing this saves you both time and money – it’s a fact that most of us only wear about 15% of our clothes 85% of the time (not all at the same time though!).  This is usually because the other 85% of clothes don’t work well but we don’t always know why.  After having Colour and Image Analysis, it all becomes very clear!  Our clothes should be paying for their space in our wardrobe, so how would it be if you could look good AND spend less (time and money)?

If you’d like to learn more, please call me.

P.S. I nearly forgot (;-)) I’m happy to do a short presentation on all this at one of the group meetings if people are interested.
